Adulthood

Today I experienced a very different form of adulthood — the joy of finally having a functional broom.

I have been on a strong binge of self help books, personal finance books and also podcasts talking about habits and many other stuff that usually help us get breakthroughs.

I recently got married and moved with my husband.

Life has changed manifolds. A lot of new inter personal relationships. And whenever we are in a new situation we come to terms with many new aspects of ourselves. It is surprising how many facts we uncover about ourselves.

Not everything is usually good. But I do believe with an open mind we can always grow and evolve. The main thing to learn would be self-empathise.

What about adulthood and this new phase of life excites me the most?

The new responsibilities which comes with all the new work I get to do. The image of the broom signifies that.

I feel so ready to take on all of it.

We ordered a broom last week because I wanted to use a broom instead of vacuuming everyday. The Indian way. And when it arrived, I could feel my heart fill up with so much joy. Like when kids become joyful when they see a bag of candies, or chocolate cake.

I can feel my heart grow and fill with so much love and joy for whatever there is to come. Also there’s the nervousness. That can be overcome with love and work. I’m sure. And what are books and podcasts for?

Maybe I’ll use this blog to keep updating my new happenings and new thought processes. And hopefully be a more sincere writer. ☺

Love you Universe and thank you!

Thank you for reading, have a lovely week ahead!!
